Top 10 Tips

On Becoming a Social Media Influencer With a Dog.

I love my dog

TIME TO PUSH OUT SOME DOG CONTENT!

Read below for the best tips on starting out as a Goldendoodle or any Dog Social Media Influencer.

1. Identify your niche: Look at Hashtags from other influencers and see what they are doing, and how they do their posts. Don’t necessarily copy, but use it as inspiration! Decide what type of content you want to create and what audience you want to target. Do the work and dig into the research so you know exactly the vibe you want to portray.

2. Create high-quality content: Use good lighting and equipment to produce visually appealing content. Don’t fret over not having the best equipment yet, you can use most smart phones. You will improve each time you shoot a new piece of content, stay confident and you got this!

3. Be consistent: Post regularly and at optimal times to engage your audience. Post in the morning, in the afternoon, at night. Try different times but always be consistent at least once per day minimum.

4. Engage with your audience: Respond to comments and messages, and ask for feedback to improve your content.

5. Use hashtags: Relevant hashtags to reach a wider audience and make it easier for people to find your content. Find popular songs, and current trends and make sure to use the Hashtags about your content. This will help grow your page and increase views and likes on your account for the long term.

Collaborate with other dog-related accounts: Collaborating with other dog-related accounts can help you reach new audiences. Find other Social Media Influcnecers that are just as consistent and hard working as you are. I would suggest finding some smaller accounts that are hungry to grow to sync with and combine audiences.

Leverage Instagram Stories and Reels: Use Instagram Stories to give your followers a behind-the-scenes look at your life with your dog. I think just everyday quick Stories can really get people watching your page each day. Mix it up and do polls, or Emoji Sliders, and mix in pictures with videos of course. Be open to trying new things and your audience will love the growing page.

Use Instagram Live: Use Instagram Live to connect with your audience in real-time and answer their questions. I like to schedule these daily or weekly so your audience knows when you are going on live and can make sure they are free to watch each Instagram Live. This is the best way to get feedback and improve the episodes each week along with your audience!

Attend events: Attend dog-related events and take pictures and videos to post on your social media accounts. These events are the best way to get easy unique content. People wish and want to go to those events, and sometimes the best way to experience it is through the lens of their favorite Social Media Dog Influencer, you.

Be authentic: Be true to yourself and your dog, and don’t be afraid to share your personality and experiences. Showing your real self and everyday struggles is what will set you apart. There is nobody on Social Media that is you and your dog. You are the only Human Dog pair in the world and do your best to showcase that and most of all have fun with your Dog!
